Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and consider us as an adoptive family. We are very excited to expand our family through adoption.

A little about us:

We have been married for 14 years and met at the University of Wyoming. Elizabeth was born and raised in Wyoming with her two younger brothers. Paul was born in Minnesota and moved to Colorado at the age of 5. He has a younger sister as well. Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Paul graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Structural Engineering. Elizabeth is a public health nurse working with high risk pregnant women in a nurse home-visitor program. Paul works as a project manager for an engineering firm. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and coaching the kids’ sporting teams. Elizabeth enjoys volunteering with a local dog rescue and at the kids’ schools, along with going on walks with her family and dogs.

We live in Colorado in a quiet, safe neighborhood.  In 2008 we welcomed our daughter, Madelynn into the world and then in 2011 our son, Andrew was born. Madelynn has a fun-loving heart, contagious smile, and a vibrant spirit. Andrew has a great sense of humor, loves all sports, and is overall excited about life.

We are a very active family. We love to ski in the winter, swim in the summer, travel, and explore new outdoor areas with our dogs. We have three dogs: Layla (Newfoundland), Bruno (Retriever mix), and Lucy (Terrier mix). More often than not, we have a foster dog in our home as well. We also enjoy fishing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Evenings in the backyard around the chiminea making s’mores and playing yard games are some of our favorites as well.

In our home we share love, laughter, tears, happiness, kindness, faith and forgiveness. We are an active Catholic family and incorporate God into our daily lives. We feel very blessed to have two healthy, beautiful children and continue to grow together as a family unit. We have decided we would love to add to our family and feel God has called our hearts to share in the gift of adoption. We are ready to parent, love, protect, and guide this new child. Our children are ready to open their hearts to a new sibling.  Together, we are very excited to welcome this child into our family and our lives, and will always be thankful for your selflessness.
