Waiting families
Sean + Sierra
Hey there!
We are Sierra and Sean Tryon. We have been together for 10 years and married for 7 years. There is no possible way for us to understand what you could be going through right now, but we appreciate you considering our family.
We live in Cheyenne with our daughter, Natalie, and our dog, Ringo. Sierra works full time as a Physical Therapist Assistant and is a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard. Sean is a disabled Veteran and full-time stay-at-home dad. Natalie is our beautiful three-year old daughter who is very active and keeps us on our toes.
Sierra was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. Sierra was in choir and art club for several years in school and then joined the Army National Guard while in high school. At this point, she has been in for about 12 ½ years and plans to complete 20 years to receive a retirement. Sierra also has a personal training degree and a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, which she has been doing full time for 2 ½ years.
Sean was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but only lived there a year before his family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. His father served 30 years in the Navy and then moved the family to Cheyenne after his retirement in 1996. Sean grew up working on his family’s horse ranch, hunting, fishing, and playing sports. In 2010, he joined the Air Force as an active-duty Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, stationed at Minot, North Dakota. This is where he met the love of his life, Sierra. From the moment we met, we’ve been inseparable. Sean then received a medical separation from the Air Force in 2015.
In 2016, we moved to Cheyenne, WY and got married in 2017. At this point, we were excited to start our family. We try to be an active family. We love going for walks in the park, camping, or playing games around our home. Some of Sierra’s favorite activities include hanging out with friends, reading, going to get coffee, and reading at coffee shops. Sean enjoys camping, going for walks, and video games. Our typical day consists of Sierra going to her job as a Physical Therapist Assistant, while Sean takes care of Natalie, Ringo, and our house. Sean always tries to have dinner ready for Sierra when she comes home, and Natalie always welcomes home Mom with hugs and kisses.
Our dog, Ringo, is half Husky and half Blue Heeler. He’s four years old and is a very sweet boy. From the moment we first brought Natalie home from the hospital in 2021, Ringo has only been the gentlest protector we could have asked for. They love chasing each other around the house, riding around in the truck together on our way to the park, or just running errands.
We would love to adopt so that we can give a child a loving, stable home and so that our daughter has someone to grow up with and play with. We are teaching our daughter, and will teach any future children, how to be a happy and healthy member of society. We want them to know love and we will support them in anything they strive for.
We would just like to say thank you so much for looking at our family,
Love and support,
The Tryon Family
