Waiting families

Family looking to adopt 4

Chad + Gabrielle

Hello! We are Chad & Gabrielle. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

We live in the Big Horn Basin, in Northern Wyoming. We’ve always dreamed of raising a family together on our cattle ranch. Even before we were married, adoption was something we both felt called to, and that desire has only grown stronger over the years. After struggling to conceive naturally, we knew adoption had been laid on our hearts for a reason.

Both of us were born and raised in Oregon. We met in our senior year of high school through church friends, and after long-distance dating through college, we got married in 2016. We’ve always shared a dream of ranching, which ultimately brought us to Wyoming when we acquired our ranch, where we now reside. Gabrielle works from home running a digital marketing company she started in 2017, and Chad also works from home, managing our cattle and running our direct to consumer beef business.

We love the flexibility of working from home and running businesses of our own. Chad volunteers on the rural fire department, we are active in our local church, and we’ve been foster parents for the last 3 years providing respite and short-term care for children in our community. In our spare time, you’ll find us making weekend trips into the mountains with our horses, taking sunset walks on the ranch, tending to our vegetable garden, and grilling beef in the backyard — all with our 3 border collies (Shyanne, Leroy, and Callie) tagging along with us.

In addition to the dogs we have 5 horses, chickens and several barn cats running around the ranch. We feel very blessed to get to live the lifestyle we do. A ranch is a great place to call home, we work hard to create an environment for the land and the livestock to flourish. We hope to someday be able to share the gifts, lessons, and traditions of this lifestyle with a child.

I, Gabrielle, want you to know that one of the things that drew me to Chad was his heart. He is incredibly kind-hearted, strong and wise. He’s the kind of person everyone likes—his easygoing personality and great sense of humor make him someone people naturally gravitate toward. He wears many hats—husband, rancher, welder, son, and friend—but the one I hope he will be able to wear someday is “Dad.” I have no doubt he will be an incredible father when the time comes.

I, Chad, want you to know that one of the first things I noticed about Gabrielle when I got to know her was how everything seemed drawn to her—people, kids, horses, and dogs alike. I’ve seen her with our nieces and nephews, as well as the foster kids and babies we’ve cared for, and I’m constantly amazed by her gentleness and patience. She leads with love and fairness, but she also holds kids accountable, teaching them kindness and honesty in a way that makes them feel safe and valued. She has been a blessing to so many people, especially me, and I hope that one day she can bless a new member of our family.

Our home is filled with love, warmth, and plenty of space to welcome a child, and we would be honored to provide a life full of care, support, and family traditions. More than anything, we would love the opportunity to share our love as parents.

We are deeply grateful for your choice to give the gift of life to your baby. We see the incredible strength and love in that decision, and we admire your courage. If we are blessed with the opportunity to adopt your child, we want you to have peace knowing your baby will be raised in a home filled with love, faith, and the warmth of a loving family.

Our heartfelt prayer is that your child finds the home and family that is meant for them. Thank you for considering us as part of your journey.

With love,
Chad & Gabrielle
