Board Member

Jillian Balow has a 30-year history of advocating for children, families, and K-12 education as a teacher, administrator, and elected official. She served as the State Superintendent of Public Instruction in Wyoming and Virginia until 2023. Currently, Jillian is the Chief Client Relations Officer at MetaMetrics, Inc., and resides in Cheyenne. She has been married for thirty years to John and they have two adopted grown children, plus a granddaughter. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming, a master’s from Regis University, and is pursuing an executive business certification from Duke University. Jillian has been actively involved with WCS as a gala volunteer and is grateful for many lifelong friendships built through the organization. A fifth-generation Wyomingite, Jillian is from Gillette.
